ARKK Copenhagen officially launches the Pythron S-E15, the brand’s first high top sneaker style

As the last drop of the Fall Winter 2017 collection, the Pythron S-E15 is the brand’s most ambitious release and is unlike anything else that’s come before it. Releasing on Friday, August 18 at 4 PM (CET), the sneaker boot takes its inspiration from The Black Diamond library, an architectural feat in the city of Copenhagen that is distinguished and cutting edge, but still undeniably, simple.

Pythron S-E15 - Key features

As the collection’s ultimate standout piece, the minimalistic high top style is a daring hybrid of style and function appeal. Key features include extra internal cushioning for support, elastic instep below the tongue, breathable mesh upper, quality Velcro fastening for quick stable access and extra surface protection across the toe edges and ankle of the boot. Noteworthy design details also include the custom-made designed back piece, glossed recessed lines to create a 3D effect, speckled STABLE-E15 outsoles and raised printed lines on the strap that provide a futuristic look.

Design Inspiration - The Black Diamond Library

The infamous Black Diamond library in Copenhagen has a twisted shape and inclined facades. Untraditional design for a traditional establishment, and as such the contrasts between the two buildings are evidently fascinating: movement vs. stringent, old vs. futuristic, symmetry vs. asymmetry. Pythron S-E15 is an airy high top sneaker that is as clean and simple as the building, yet the asymmetry of the design gives it movement and illusions of the future.
